President of the Czech Academy of Sciences Radomír Pánek Visited the Brain4Industry Innovation Center in Dolní Břežany

We were delighted to welcome the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prof. Radomír Pánek, to the Brain4Industry innovation center in Dolní Břežany. During his visit, we had the opportunity to present our key activities focused on bridging cutting-edge research with the needs of Czech manufacturing companies.

We guided him through the entire ecosystem of additive technologies that Brain4Industry has been developing over the long term – from the design and construction of components, through structural and thermal simulations, shape and function optimization, to 3D printing and subsequent post-processing operations. We explained how this comprehensive approach helps companies streamline the development of new products, increase their added value, and shorten the time needed to bring innovations to market.

In addition to additive manufacturing, we also introduced our activities in the field of digitalization of production processes and the implementation of artificial intelligence in practice. Today, these technologies represent key tools for increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The visit was led by Alexandr Dejneka, Chair of the Brain4Industry Steering Committee and Head of the Optics Division at the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences; Marek Havel, Head of the Additive Manufacturing Department at Brain4Industry; and Michael Prouza, Director of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences.

We are pleased to have had the opportunity to demonstrate concrete results of the collaboration between science and industry in practice. We believe that the synergy between research and the business environment holds tremendous potential for the future development of the Czech economy.
