Innovate with Metal 3D Printing

Fast and accessible prototyping, spare parts, and low-volume production.

Accelerate your manufacturing, reduce costs, and gain access to cutting-edge technologies through the de minimis support programme.

Metal 3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, is a technology that enables the production of complex metal parts directly from a digital model. Unlike traditional methods such as machining or casting, which remove material or require molds, 3D printing builds parts layer by layer from metal powder melted by a laser or electron beam.

Advantages of metal 3D printing compared to traditional manufacturing:

  • Direct production of high-precision metal components
  • Ability to create complex geometries not achievable by conventional methods
  • Possibility of lighter, stronger, and more durable parts
  • Material savings and reduced costs
    Fast prototyping and low-volume production
  • Greater design freedom thanks to internal structures and cavities

Who benefits most from this technology?

  • Manufacturers – fast production of spare parts, prototypes, and small batches
  • Automotive sector – components for testing, validation, and functional prototypes
  • Aerospace industry – lightweight, optimized parts
  • Medical and biomedical field – advanced orthoses and prosthetics
  • Toolmakers and mold manufacturers – enhanced mold cooling efficiency

What we provide?

We are not a commercial supplier – we are your technology partner.

Unlike others, we provide research, development, testing, and training in metal 3D printing under one roof.

  • Competitive pricing through de minimis support
  • Low-volume production and prototyping
  • Material and process development and testing (Test Bed)
  • Consulting, training, and onboarding in metal 3D printing

Printable materials

  • Stainless steel (316L, 17-4PH) – corrosion resistance, mechanical strength
  • Titanium (Ti6Al4V) – high strength, lightweight, biocompatible
  • Aluminium (AlSi10Mg) – lightweight, ideal for aerospace and automotive applications
  • Copper – high thermal and electrical conductivity

Our SLM technology – FS301M: Open software, open possibilities.

Custom part development specifically for your production environment.

At Brain4Industry, we operate the FS301M metal 3D printer by Farsoon Technologies, based on Selective Laser Melting (SLM) – a process in which metal powder is fused using a laser.

The key advantage of the FS301M system is its software flexibility. The machine is not limited to predefined materials, process parameters, or manufacturer-defined workflows.

Thanks to this flexibility, we can tailor the entire process to specific company requirements—from material optimization to improving part performance (strength, weight, durability, and geometric complexity).

✅ Custom parts designed directly for your production process

✅ Optimized process parameters for maximum efficiency and quality

✅ Material composition to your specific application

For small and medium-sized industrial companies, this means more flexibility, fewer limitations, and greater control over production. The machine adapts to your needs.

The system features an advanced 3-axis digital galvanometer, robust process control with real-time monitoring, and a highly sealed build chamber—ensuring top-quality output.

FS301M Technical Specifications:

Machine dimensions (L × W × H): 2360 × 1530 × 2150 mm
Installation space (L × W × H): 3500 × 3000 × 2800 mm
Build volume (L × W × H): 305 × 305 × 410 mm (including build plate)

Supported materials
The FS301M supports a wide range of metal alloys, including:

316L, 17-4PH, 420, Maraging Steel Grade 300
HX, HAYNES 230, IN718, IN625
AlSi10Mg, TA15, Ti6Al4V

You can test the FS301M at our facility and verify its capabilities and performance.

We also offer low-volume production and prototyping under the de minimis scheme.

Who can benefit from the de minimis programme and how does it help lower costs?

The de minimis programme is a funding scheme that enables small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to obtain financial support for innovation, research, and development. Through this programme, you can access metal 3D printing services at significantly reduced costs—without administrative burden or complex grant applications.

✅ Up to €300,000 in funding over 3 years for innovation and technology
✅ Simple approval process – no complex documentation required
✅ Immediate availability – reduced costs for prototyping and testing

If you are an SME, this programme allows you to significantly reduce costs and benefit from advanced metal 3D printing at competitive prices.
