Alexandr Dejneka is also the head of the Section of Optics and the Department of Optical and Biophysical Systems of the Institute of Physics of the CAS. Among other things, he is involved in the development of new physical methods for use in industry, biophysics and medicine. He is the Principal Investigator and Chairman of the Board of the MATCA National Centre of Competence, which aims to build a robust bridge between science and industry, including the popularisation of science and education of students and the professional community.
