Jana De Merlier

Jana De Merlier has 20 years of experience in grant consulting and strategic project management. She has worked with municipalities, companies and the non-profit sector. Since 2007, she has been involved in most of the grant projects of the municipality of Dolní Břežany and is actively involved in municipal politics in the municipality. Within the municipality, she is mainly involved in the area of education and the preparation of strategic projects. Since 2014, she has been working at the HiLASE Laser Centre, where she coordinates the preparation of grant projects and participates in the development of strategic documents. In 2015, she co-founded the non-profit organization STAR Research & Innovation Cluster, whose mission is to comprehensively support the development of the STAR region (Science and Technology Advanced Region – axis Dolní Břežany, Vestec, Zlatníky-Hodkovice) with the aim of creating a science and technology cluster, whose source of competitiveness and innovation will be research, development and their use in the area. It has been an active member of the B4I consortium since the beginning.
